Synopsis
Chia-Kai possesses a unique and extraordinary "emotional vision"—the ability to see the emotional bonds between people as visible threads. The colors and number of these threads reflect the depth and intensity of their connections. Yet, ironically, he cannot see any threads tied to himself. Born "threadless," he has spent years unable to understand why he couldn't form bonds with others, gradually resigning himself to a ghost-like existence on the fringes of life.
One day, an unexpected encounter with a police officer named Da-Wei changes everything. To Chia-Kai’s astonishment, a silver-gray emotional thread appears between them—unlike anything he’s ever seen. Desperate to hold on to this rare connection, Chia-Kai takes a part-time administrative job at the police station, using it as an excuse to stay close to Da-Wei. At the same time, he begins to use his thread-seeing ability to help with investigations, finding people and lost items, and slowly carving out a sense of purpose and presence.
As their relationship deepens, the silver thread quietly shifts to yellow, symbolizing friendship, and then gradually blushes into pink—the color of love. Words can deny it, expressions can conceal it, but emotional threads never lie. Chia-Kai finally realizes: the thread of his fate wasn’t invisible—it was simply waiting for the right person to bring it to light.
