The Outlaw Doctor
Synopsis
The intelligent and conceited Vietnamese doctor Fan Wen Ning arrived in Taiwan to take care of his mother. Fan soon took up underground jobs to earn money and ended up becoming a fugitive after he was embroiled in a medical argument because of his foreigner status. To raise money for his mother’s medical bills, Fan Wen Ning worked at the hospital during the day as a cleaner for the morgue, while providing illegal medical consultation to other fugitives on his off days. One day, his secrets got exploded, so he ran away… During his escape, he built an underground medical business from scratch. But soon, he got himself embroiled in another dangerous situation again. Other than facing threats from both the legal side and the underworld gangs, Fan also condemned himself for his mistakes. Would he be able to bring his mother back to their home country, just as he wished?
