Synopsis

IIn 1977, the city of Zhongli in Taiwan was thrown into turmoil due to a chaotic election. Photographer Hsien-Ying met Taekwondo coach Kim Ho-hee from Korea amidst the confusion. Since Kim didn’t speak Chinese, they relied on their mutual friend Hong-Guo for translation, and the three quickly became close, often going out together for photography sessions. As their bond deepened, Kim encouraged Hsien-Ying to enter a photography competition in Hong Kong and invited her to Hehuan Mountain to capture the snow. However, Hsien-Ying hesitated, as she had never seen snow before and was uncertain about their future. Eventually, she decided to take the risk, but on her birthday, she got lost and missed the chance to meet Kim...

Jin Hao-Xi (played by Jin-Young)

A former presidential bodyguard forced into retirement after a failed mission, Hao-Xi moves to Taiwan to teach taekwondo, hoping to leave his past behind. Though confident and attention-grabbing on the outside, he hides deep insecurities rooted in childhood abandonment.

Fan Hsien-Ying (played by Li Mu)

Unable to continue her studies due to dyslexia, Hsien-Ying works at her father's photo studio and secretly teaches herself photography. Though quiet and gentle, she’s fiercely resilient. Meeting Hao-Xi inspires her to step out of her comfort zone, reclaim her confidence, and follow her own path.

Li Hong-Guo (played by Po-Hung Sung)

Guitar club president with a strong sense of justice, Hong-Guo hides his emotions behind music under the shadow of his strict father. His closest friend Hsien-Ying is also his secret crush—but before he can confess, he notices her growing closeness with Hao-Xi, and turns to school politics to mask his heartbreak.
