The Victims' Game
Synopsis
The series is adapted from the novel The Fourth Victim by Endless Universe. It tells the story of Fang Yi-Jen, a forensic officer with Asperger's syndrome, who discovers during a bizarre murder case that the key piece of evidence is somehow linked to his missing daughter. To hide this from his colleagues at the police department while secretly searching for the truth, he takes the risky step of using his forensic knowledge to mislead his hot-tempered partner, Detective Chao Cheng-Kuan, while also collaborating with a bloodthirsty journalist, Hsu Hai-yin, who holds crucial clues. In the end, Fang Yi-Jen will realize that what truly uncovers the truth is not his expertise in forensics but the long-lost, deeply hidden emotions he has buried.
