In close collaboration with the Indigenous Peoples Television Station, we are honored to participate in this profoundly meaningful film project《Centennial Indigenous Wounds》.
GrX Studio has long been passionate about social issues and human values. This is more than just a documentary—it's a cultural mission to rewrite history.
Cross-disciplinary Collaboration, Revealing Historical Truths We deeply understand that history should not be written only by the victors. By partnering with the Indigenous Peoples' Council and Indigenous Cultural Association, we carefully selected three critical historical events: the "Cepo' Battle", the "Taroko Tribe's Anti-Japanese Resistance", and the "Dapao Society's Anti-Japanese Struggle", attempting to restore hidden historical memories.
For each event, we established a professional research team, invited scholars and tribal elders to participate, and ensured every detail underwent rigorous verification. We hope to reignite overlooked history through the language of imagery.
Diverse Narratives, Breaking Frameworks In this production, we've abandoned the traditional single-perspective historical narrative. Documentaries and dramatic reconstructions will run parallel, allowing audiences to understand this history in a richer, more multidimensional way. Through diverse visual mediums and planned touring screenings, we aim to transmit these precious historical memories from tribal lands to every corner, especially targeting younger generations.
Behind every story, there are countless forgotten heroes. Our mission is to awaken their voices once again.
